Honored In 2022

A Jacksonville native, Carol watched our Tomato Bowl being built from its start to its finish in 1940. Carol graduated from JHS, married two Jacksonville Indians, gave birth to three, and her grandson, Owen, was an All-District JHS Fightin’ Indian. She certainly was an Influential Indian her entire life. Her three daughters, Leigh Owen, Kathleen Stanfill, and Alyson Ezell recently honored her by officially naming her an Influential Indian.
