The Jacksonville Education Foundation chose to name Jay Hooker as an Influential Indian during the 2023 Convocation. Jay is a JHS alumni that has given back to JISD in more ways than we can possibly thank him for. The Foundation thought he needed a little more recognition for all he does for the district.
