Former students and fellow teachers surprised retired JHS calculus teacher Paula Small by naming her an Influential Indian during the JISD Convocation in August, 2019. Mrs. Small influenced so many students during her teaching career, and former student and current JHS Calculus teacher, Sarah Traylor, presented Mrs. Small with the award.
