Honored In 2019

Coach John Paul Young was pleasantly surprised when presented the Influential Indian award by his former players while a coach at Jacksonville High School. Gene Brumbelow and George Staton presented the award to Coach Young, who was also one of the “Stars” for the event in August, 2019. Coach Young went on to coach on the collegiate and professional levels after leaving JHS in the early 1960’s.
